About Us

“Service is the reason we’ve been around 21 years!” -Charlie Hall

When President and CEO Charlie Hall founded Alpine Valley Water in 1990, he had a vision of creating a water company based on key values like integrity, honesty, and superb customer service. While working in Chicago, Illinois, Charlie learned his way around the water business.  After returning to his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio full of newfound knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit, he decided to start his own venture. After several months and enlisting the help of businesswoman and sister, Ellen Meakin, Alpine Valley Water was born.

From the start, Charlie’s top priority was delivering the highest quality of products to customers with a level of service that always exceeded expectations. Our company’s first offerings included delivery of 5-gallon bottled water, water coolers, and small package water products—which (to this day) remain a cornerstone of our family business.

In response to evolving consumer needs, we expanded our inventory to include coffee, tea, and related products in January of 2005. This was followed shortly by another expansion: The distribution of private label bottled water throughout the U.S.

Charlie has grown Alpine Valley from a small idea fostered around his mother’s kitchen table to a profitable business employing 24 people and serving more than 6,000 residential and commercial customers.  Even with the increasingly competitive water market, Alpine Valley has remained independent. Because of our loyal customers and talented employees, we have continued to grow and progress every year without compromising our values. Alpine Valley truly is the premiere bottled water and coffee delivery service in Cincinnati.

Mission Statement:

Alpine Valley was founded on the simple idea of making a superior product available to customers. Today, we are committed to treating all of our customers as friends, providing the highest caliber of available products and services, and charging a fair price. Integrity, honesty, and fairness—values that are sometimes lost in the pursuit of profit—are the foundation upon which we will continue to build.
